Technology input from teachers?

I'm getting the feeling that teachers are resenting my involvement in their professional development as it relates to academic technology, the laptops in particular.  I think I am going to set up a group, probably second semester, that will examine what we have done with technology, how it is implemented, and what we can do better.  Perhaps this could be somehow built into a SMART goal, although I'm hesitant to make that an official goal this year, since it is somewhat stereotypical of me.
